Insurance & payment

The plans we accept depend on your state

Pennsylvania and Georgia each have their own list. Find the state you'll be in during sessions, then let us help you confirm your benefits before your first appointment.

Accepted plans by state

Start with the state you'll be in during sessions

We see clients by video anywhere in Pennsylvania and Georgia. Each state has its own insurance networks, so check the list for yours.

Aetna, Cigna / Evernorth, Highmark, and Humana are accepted in both states. Coverage depends on your state and your specific plan. We're glad to help you check your benefits before your first session.

Checking your coverage

Know what your plan covers before your first video session

A few minutes of checking now saves a surprise bill later. You can do it yourself, or hand it to us.

  1. Use the exact name on your card

Plan names matter. In Pennsylvania, Highmark, Capital Blue Cross, and Independence Blue Cross are three separate companies, so “Blue Cross” alone doesn't tell us enough. The name printed on your card does.

  2. Call the number on the back

Ask member services about your outpatient mental health benefits, and whether therapy by video is covered the same way as an office visit.

  3. Or let us check for you

Tell us your state and your plan name when you reach out. We'll ask for your member ID when we talk, so you never need to send it through the website.

Questions worth asking your insurer

Write down the answers, along with the date and the name of the person you spoke with.

  • Is outpatient mental health care covered, and does that include telehealth sessions?
  • What's my copay or coinsurance for a therapy session?
  • Do I have a deductible to meet first, and how much of it is left this year?
  • Do I need a referral or prior authorization, especially for an Intensive Outpatient Program?
  • Are couples or family sessions covered under my plan?

Common questions

Insurance and cost

Straight answers about coverage, cost, and what to send us.

Insurance networks are arranged state by state, so a practice can be in network with a plan in one state and not in the other. The list that applies to you is the one for the state you'll be in during your sessions. If your plan was issued somewhere else, such as a parent's plan from another state, send us its name and we'll help you check.

Not sure about your coverage?

Send us your state and plan name. We'll help you check.

We'll look into your benefits with you and find a time for your first video session, evenings and weekends included.
